The Marchers set off from Coldstream at 9am on exercise 'Enduring Guardsman' Wednesday 6th January 2010 with prayers led by Canon Hughes. On reaching Berwick later that day, they were welcomed into Berwick Parish Church, which they built in 1650, by The Mayor and Sheriff, a large turnout of Town Councillors and The Freemen of Berwick in their robes. Entering Church with the Civic Party to Regimental Slow March 'Figaro' greetings were exchanged, Micah 4 vv1-5 read, an encouraging address delivered, prayers for safe journey offered, The National Anthem sung followed by 'Battle Hymn of The Republic' before all processed out of Church to Regimental Quick March, 'Milanollo'
